Program Overview
The Good Samaritan Community Service Program is a structured, supervised community service program designed for individuals who are required to complete court-ordered community service hours or who voluntarily seek to serve their community.
The program provides meaningful, hands-on service opportunities that promote accountability, responsibility, restoration, and personal growth, while directly benefiting neighborhoods and vulnerable populations.
Participants are expected to serve with integrity, respect, and consistency while engaging in real community work that strengthens families and communities.
Program Purpose
The purpose of The Good Samaritan Community Service Program is to:
- Provide a legitimate and supervised option for completing community service hours
- Encourage personal responsibility and positive civic engagement
- Restore and support communities through direct service
- Offer structure, mentorship, and accountability to participants
Eligible Participants
- Individuals with court-ordered community service requirements
- Probation or re-entry participants (as approved)
- Students needing service hours
- Community members seeking volunteer opportunities
Service Activities May Include
- Community clean-ups and neighborhood beautification
- Feeding and serving individuals experiencing hardship
- Street and community outreach
- Violence prevention and peace-building efforts
- Youth and family support activities
- Faith-based service projects (non-coercive and inclusive)
All service activities are lawful, non-political, and community-focused.
Supervision & Accountability
- Participants are supervised by program leadership
- Attendance and hours are documented
- Service expectations and conduct guidelines are enforced
- Failure to comply with program rules may result in dismissal from the program
Hours Verification
- Verified service hours provided upon completion
- Supervisor signature available
- Court and probation documentation provided when required
