Our Mission

Chainbreakers’ mission is to stop violence and promote community stability through proactive street outreach, crisis response, mentorship, health and wellness and wraparound support.

We work to disrupt cycles of gun violence, strengthen public safety, and connect individuals especially youth and young adults to opportunities that lead to long-term transformation.

We show up in the hardest-hit communities with love, prayer, resources, and real support for youth and families. Our mission is to interrupt cycles of violence, build authentic relationships, and create pathways to healing, safety, and transformation in Chicago’s neighborhoods.

Community IMPACT

For nearly seven years, Chainbreakers VIP and Life Beyond Limits, Inc. have consistently shown up in Chicago’s highest-risk neighborhoods building trust, reducing crisis moments, de-escalating violence, and supporting youth, adults and families with compassion, leadership, and love.

Our measurable impact includes:

Thousands of community members engaged through hot-spot outreach, wellness and prayer walks, and resource distribution
Hundreds of youth, young adults, men and women supported through mentorship, conflict mediation, and crisis prevention
Active presence in high-violence zones including Lawndale, East Garfield Park, Austin, Gresham, Chatham Woodlawn, Bronzeville and surrounding West Side and South Side areas
Interventions that have helped prevent violence by engaging young men at critical moments
Support for families in distress, including food, clothing, toys, and emergency needs
Women and men empowered through leadership, identity, and personal development programs
Community advocacy at City Hall, ensuring the voices of underserved neighborhoods are heard
Building multi-racial, multi-community partnerships with law enforcement districts, businesses, and local leaders
